Equisetum hyemale, commonly known as Scouring-Rush, is widely used for treating urinary complaints, including enuresis (bedwetting), urinary retention, and painful urination. Symptoms Treated with Equisetum hyemale

Mind and Head:

  • Irritability with associated headaches.
  • Sticking, darting pains in the head, often changing locality.
  • Severe headache with intense pain and constriction of the scalp, particularly without redness in the face.

Eyes and Ears:

  • Severe pain in the eyes with blurred vision.

Male Complaints:

  • Soreness of the testicles, extending to the spermatic cords during urination.

Neck and Back:

  • Back pain, especially while sitting, relieved by lying on the back or walking.
  • Heavy sensation extending down the outer left leg, ending above the knee.

Extremities:

  • Pain in the right shoulder extending to the middle of the upper arm, aggravated by motion or contact.
  • Sharp pains on the inner side of the left knee.

Dosage Instructions:

  • Take 5 drops in half a cup of water, three times a day.
  • Alternatively, use globules and take three times a day or as prescribed by a physician.
