SBL Bacillinum
₹63.00 – ₹516.00 (-14%)
Cough, teeth complaints, enlarged glands, ringworm, eczema
Common Name: Bacillinum
Indications and Symptoms for Bacillinum:
Bacillinum is primarily used to help alleviate symptoms associated with tuberculosis and chronic respiratory conditions. It has been found effective in improving the sputum in tuberculosis patients, making it less purulent and more aerated. Bacillinum also benefits patients with chronic non-tubercular diseases, particularly those with bronchorrhoea (excessive mucus production in the airways) and dyspnoea (difficulty breathing).
Key Symptoms:
Head:
- Irritable and depressed mood.
- Severe, deep, and tight headache, often described as if a hoop is tightening around the head.
- Ringworm (a fungal skin infection).
- Eczema of the eyelids.
Abdomen:
- Abdominal pains and enlarged lymph nodes in the groins (tabes mesenterica).
- Sudden diarrhoea, often occurring before breakfast.
- Obstinate constipation with offensive flatus (gas).
Respiratory:
- Oppression or tightness in the chest.
- Catarrhal dyspnoea (breathing difficulties due to inflammation and mucus in the respiratory tract).
- Humid breathing difficulties, often with bubbling rales (crackling sounds in the chest) and muco-purulent expectoration (a mixture of mucus and pus).
- Bacillinum is useful in conditions where bronchitic patients have a poly-bacillary (mixed bacterial) infection, often relieving lung congestion.
Skin:
- Ringworm and pityriasis (skin conditions involving patches of discolored skin).
- Eczema of the eyelids.
- Swollen and tender glands in the neck.
Modalities:
- Worse: Night and early morning; exposure to cold air.
Relationship and Complementary Remedies:
- Related Remedies: Antimonium iod, Lachesis, Arsenic iod, Myosotis.
- Complementary Remedies: Calcarea phosphorica (Calc phos), Kali carbonicum (Kali carb).
- Bacillinum shares similarities with Koch’s Tuberculinum, particularly for the early stages of tuberculosis before the disease develops into phthisis (advanced tuberculosis). It also compares to Psorinum, which is considered its chronic equivalent.
Dosage:
- Bacillinum should be taken in doses of the 30th potency.
- The dosage should not be repeated frequently—one dose per week is typically sufficient to bring about a reaction.
- Bacillinum is rapid in action, and good results should be seen quickly; otherwise, there is no need for repeated doses.
Terms and Conditions:
- Homeopathic products are designed for use based on symptom similarity, and results can vary based on the individual’s condition.
- It is highly recommended to consult with a physician before purchasing or using this medicine to avoid self-medication.
