Symptoms Treated with Geranium Maculatum
Head:
- Giddiness with double vision (diplopia), which improves upon closing the eyes and lying down.
- Slight pain in the occiput (lower back of the head).
Eyes:
- Fullness in the eyes.
- Ptosis (drooping eyelids) and dilated pupils.
- Difficulty walking with eyes open, but able to walk with eyes closed.
Mouth:
- Dryness of the mouth, extending to the lips and cuticle, followed by pain in the left side of the forehead and above the left ear.
- Burning sensation on the tip of the tongue.
Stomach:
- Catarrhal gastritis with profuse secretion, ulceration, and passive hemorrhage.
- Reduces vomiting in cases of gastric ulcer.
Stool and Anus:
- Constant urge to go to stool with inability to pass fecal matter, which resolves after the urge passes.
- Once the urge passes, the bowels move without pain.
Female Complaints:
- Excessive menstrual flow (profuse menses).
- Post-partum hemorrhage.
- Helpful for sore nipples (Eupatorium).
Dosage Instructions:
- Take 5 drops in half a cup of water, three times a day.
- Alternatively, you can take globules three times a day, or as prescribed by a physician.
