Causes & Symptoms for Hyoscyamus Niger

Hyoscyamus is indicated in conditions with increased cerebral activity, especially in old people. It is beneficial for chronic manias and symptoms stemming from jealousy or emotional distress. It is commonly used to treat:

Mind and Head:

• Irritability, nervousness, and sudden outbursts.
• Jumps out of bed, tries to escape, answers irrelevantly.
• Jealousy and unhappy love.
• Suspicious, refuses to take medicine out of fear of poisoning.
• Delirium that ranges from muttering to unconsciousness.
• Pressive, stupefying headache primarily in the forehead.
• Heat of the head with a general sense of coldness in the body, without thirst.
• Waving or shaking of the head from one side to the other, with loss of consciousness and red, sparkling eyes.

Eyes, Ear, Nose:

• Swollen eyelids with inability to open the eyes.
• Eyes red, fixed, convulsed, and prominent.
